Mud Painting
Each of the students drew a picture of a pig. They were divided
into groups and were given water and dirt to mix into mud. They
then used the mud to "paint" their pigs.

Pigs in Pigs Out
Each group member gets a pen (sm
box lids) and the pig cutouts are placed in one pile and the drawing
cards are placed in another. The drawing cards have a number 1-9
and the words "pigs in" or "pigs out" on them. The
children take turns drawing a pigs in or out card and then place that
many pigs in their pen or take that many pigs out of the pen.
When all pigs from the pile are gone each student counts up how many
he/she has in his/her pen. The one with the most wins.

Piggy Bank
Concentration
I made a set of
concentration cards with piggy banks on them. One card has
pictures of dimes, nickels, and pennies for the kids to count, the
other has the matching amount written on it. All of the cards
are mixed and placed upside down. Each student takes a turn
turning over two cards. The student then counts and card with
coins out-loud. If they match the student keeps the cards and
goes again, if not it is the next student's turn.. |

Block Farm
The students use blocks and
plastic farm animals to make a farm. |
